DMCA Notice and Takedown Policy

BBSviz respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

If you believe that material available on this site infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notification that includes:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it, such as a URL.
  3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Technical Safeguards:

  • Individual message pages may include noindex directives to discourage search engine indexing.
  • A robots.txt file is implemented to limit automated crawling of archive content.
  • Rate limiting is enforced at the application level to reduce bulk scraping.
  • Automated redaction of certain structured identifiers is performed upstream during parsing.
